How to Fix Your Fitness Coaching Brand and Start Signing Clients Every Week
Oct 17, 2025Most fitness coaches don’t have a talent problem. They have a system problem.
In this Scale with Nathan Live audit, I broke down the online brand of fitness coach Tanner Permez and showed how a few small changes can completely transform his business.
If you’re a trainer or coach trying to grow online, this breakdown will help you clarify your message, create content that builds trust, and turn conversations into clients.
Step 1: Create a Bio That Converts
Your bio is your storefront. You only get a few seconds to make an impression before someone scrolls past.
Here’s a strong format that works:
I help [specific audience] achieve [specific result] in [timeframe] without [common pain point].
For example:
“I help busy men lose 20 pounds in 90 days without giving up their favorite foods.”
Make sure your bio is clear, scannable, and shows credibility. Add one quick credibility line such as “Lost 50 pounds myself” or “Trained 100+ clients.” Then finish with a simple CTA that offers value, like “DM me ‘Fitness’ for my free guide.”
Step 2: Build Daily Trust With Content
The algorithm rewards consistency, not perfection.
When someone follows you, Instagram immediately shows them more of your content. If you’re not posting consistently, they’ll forget you exist.
Create a mix of these post types each week:
-
Authority posts (tips, myths, education)
-
Lifestyle posts (behind the scenes, personal moments)
-
Transformation posts (client success stories)
-
Call to action posts (DM or link to connect)
Even 3 posts and 3-5 stories per week is enough to build trust and stay visible.
Step 3: Use Lead Magnets That Start Conversations
A lead magnet is a simple free resource that delivers real value and opens the door for a DM conversation.
Ideas for fitness coaches:
-
“10 Fat Loss Myths That Keep You Stuck”
-
“7-Day Meal Guide for Busy Professionals”
-
“3 Workouts to Lose Belly Fat Without Cardio”
The goal isn’t to give away everything—it’s to provide a quick win that proves your expertise and builds trust.
Step 4: Simplify Your Funnel
Most people overcomplicate their funnels. You only need three steps:
-
Content that gets attention
-
Conversations that build trust
-
Calls that close clients
Once you’ve added a video sales letter or mini-training that explains your method, prospects come to the call already warmed up and ready to buy.
Step 5: Do the Simple Math
If your goal is 10K per month and your coaching program is 3K, you only need to close one deal a week.
That means:
-
23 daily DM conversations
-
4 booked calls per week
-
1 sale per week
Focus on consistency and the results will follow.
Step 6: Install Systems That Scale
When you have content, lead magnets, and daily conversations running together, your business becomes predictable.
This is what I help my clients build in my 30-Day Freedom Sprint, where we create your offer, content strategy, appointment system, and ads—all in 30 days or less.
Final Thought
You don’t need another social media trick. You need a system that connects your content, conversations, and conversions.
When you build that foundation, your business starts to grow even when you’re not online.
